Most of the time, there's two ways to life. One is to never give up no matter how hard the journey is, and the other is to know when to stop pushing things too far. Life can be like a game of 'tug of war'. What ever happens, do not let go of the rope, because you have to keep fighting to win it. You use all your strength to get it on your side and the rope slowly comes to you. Its a never giving up situation. Sometimes you may fall, other times you may be stong enough to hold it and pull it continuously, but you always get back up on your feet to try harder because you know that if you let it go just for a second, it goes away. Your opponent will have it even though you had it to your side before. Thats how life works sometimes. You must never give up, even if it gets tough. Life works in a funny way. It will reward you in ways you least expect it. On the other hand, there is another way to approach life. This is the total opposite from never giving up. Its called "know when to stop pushing because pushing too much will lead to negative outcomes". You must learn to stop pushing your limits when they say "no". If you continue, then things might get out of hand. When you stop pushing, life can reward you such that you will get what you want in the end because you were being patient.
But the only question left, how would you know which to choose when it comes to that situation? What if you never give up, but that situation requires you to stop pushing. Or even when you stop pushing, you lose out because that situation requires you to never give up. Either way you lose in the end. How would you know when to not push or when to not give up? That is why life is unfair. Even when you tried so hard, you try and you try, but you miss out, what then? To me, I try not to give up. At least in the end, you know you tried your best, but your best may not be what was required. Maybe you were not meant to get that. Maybe you were better of not having that.
I believe that we shape our own future. Others may think its faith. But what is faith exactly? If you tried once and you give up, is that called faith? "Its faith lah. Faith made me stop wan. So I stop lo". Is that how faith is categorized? Or is it when you try and try for several times and you still don't get it. Is that faith?
Every inch you take is every word you write in your book of life. You are prepared with a pen and a book but its up to you to fill it with excitement or just plain boringness. In my book, joy is explained as creating laughters with friends and getting laughter back. Joy is also termed as having the right companies and being comfortable with people you care most about. Joy is also labeled as spending time, sharing and even being there for that particular person.
A second, a minute, an hour, a day, a week, a month nearer.

Word to self: Never complain even when time gets rough. Everyone gets to choose where to go.
